01 / The Rootline idea

One gift.
A whole new
branch of stories.

From your windowsill to a friend’s first apartment. Every cutting carries a piece of where it came from.

We’re building the registration and pass-along experience. Here’s how the chain is designed to grow.

01

Give a little green.

The idea starts with a starter cutting in a compostable mailer, plus a personal note. A small piece of a plant. A thoughtful gift for someone you know.

02

Scan. Register. Grow.

The planned QR registration connects the recipient’s cutting to its parent plant. Care guidance helps new roots settle in. Each registered cutting becomes a new generation.

03

Pass the story on.

When the plant is ready, take a cutting for someone else. With the planned pass-along kit, the sender receives the packaging and ships their own cutting. The next plant joins the same family tree.

02 / A family tree for your plant

Follow the roots.
See the connections.

The planned public family tree links each cutting to the plant it came from and the cuttings it becomes. Share a growing story across generations and cities, with locations kept at city level.

Different homes. The same original plant. That’s the connection.
